Some news

As you may have noticed, we haven’t exactly been active lately here at Bord. But the three of us who founded it still harbor fantasies, admittedly often wine-fueled, of reviving it some day.

Until then, one of us—namely me, Lisa—wanted to let you know that you can read my writing at a new newsletter I’ve just launched. It’s called The Unplugged Traveler, and is about my attempt to travel throughout Europe without using the internet. That means no Google or GPS maps or or online booking systems or restaurant review sites or Instagram or Uber or AirBnB, and it’s all in the hopes of recovering some of the serendipity that was once inherent to travel. If that sounds interesting, please check it out here: The Unplugged Traveler

Obviously, that one isn’t about the Copenhagen restaurant scene. But if you want something about restaurants in general and the pressing issues they face, you might be interested in some other work I’m doing for the non-profit organization MAD. That’s a newsletter too: MAD Digest.
